The Rows of Great Yarmouth is an essay by Lotte L.S. on the town’s unique form of medieval urban development: a dense grid of narrow passages running parallel from the easterly town wall to the westerly quay in sharp lines. The essay focuses on collective life and the state's desire to decimate it, the heritage-industrial-complex, postwar housing and non-consensual community living in Great Yarmouth over the last century.
